ROWLETT, Texas — Grab your costume and candy bag — it’s time for Trunk or Treat in downtown Rowlett. This Saturday, Oct. 25, from 6 to 9 p.m., Main Street will transform into a Halloween wonderland filled with candy, creativity and community spirit.
This year’s event is bigger than ever, prompting organizers to move the celebration to Main Street to accommodate a record number of decorated trunks, thrilling carnival rides and an abundance of food trucks.
More than 40 community trunks will line the street, each decked out in festive Halloween themes and ready to hand out treats to trick-or-treaters of all ages. Families can also enjoy carnival rides, food trucks and plenty of photo-worthy moments throughout the night.
Adding to the excitement, Haunted Hall will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. on the lawn of City Hall, offering an interactive spooky experience for the whole family. Visitors can explore a maze of animatronics, light-up inflatables and surprises around every corner — the perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit before or after Trunk or Treat.
“Trunk or Treat has become one of Rowlett’s most-loved traditions,” said Community Engagement Manager Janine Reyes, “moving it downtown allows even more families to celebrate together safely.”
This free, family-friendly event offers a fun and festive way to celebrate Halloween — whether you’re showing off your costume, decorating a trunk or just coming for the candy.
Come for the candy, stay for the fun — it’s sure to be a frightfully fun time!
