Rockwall, TX – October 29, 2025 – Six Republican candidates for statewide office will visit Rockwall this Saturday, November 1, for The Candidate Rally, presented by the Lone Star Coalition and hosted by the Rockwall County Republican Party. The event will give local voters a valuable opportunity to hear directly from candidates running for key state positions.
The rally will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Liberty Hall at the Rockwall County Courthouse, 1111 E. Yellowjacket Lane, Rockwall. Doors open at 11:00 a.m., with the first speaker beginning at 11:15 a.m. Organizers are expecting a full house and encourage attendees to arrive early for seating.
Candidates appearing include:
Aaron Reitz, Senator Mayes Middleton, and Senator Joan Huffman – for Texas Attorney General
Nathan Sheets and Commissioner Sid Miller – for Texas Agriculture Commissioner
The Honorable Don Huffines – for Texas Comptroller
Event hosts include Sharon Henson, Rockwall County Republican Chair, and Tillie Perkins and Ray Myers of the Lone Star Coalition Board. The program will open with an invocation by Rev. Michael Vinson of St. Benedict’s Anglican Church and pledges led by Fate Mayor Andrew Greenberg.
Each candidate will share their vision for the office they seek, take questions as time allows, and visit with attendees at campaign tables following their presentations.
The July Texas Red Rally drew a standing-room-only crowd, and organizers anticipate similar enthusiasm this weekend.
