Rockwall, TX – July 31, 2025 – Lorne Megyesi, former Mayor of Fate and longtime Rockwall County resident, has officially announced his candidacy for County Commissioner, Precinct 4. Known for his servant-hearted leadership and dedication to preserving the county’s close-knit character, Megyesi enters the race with a focus on transparency, fiscal discipline, and thoughtful planning.
“As our county grows, we must ensure our leadership reflects the values that make Rockwall County feel like home—honesty, integrity, and transparency,” said Megyesi. “I’m committed to serving every community in Precinct 4, from Fate and Royse City to Mobile City and our unincorporated areas.”
