Connecting Kids with Community Through Music
Rockwall, TX – August 12, 2025 – The Greater Rockwall Youth Symphony (GRYS) is excited to announce the launch of its new community newsletter, designed to keep families, music lovers, and supporters up to date on performances, events, and opportunities to get involved.
The newsletter will feature details about upcoming concerts, registration information for the 2025–2026 season, special community events such as the GRYS Spooktacular and GRYSmas Benefit Concert, as well as behind-the-scenes stories from student musicians and volunteers.
“Our goal is to not only share our music but to connect with our community in a meaningful way,” said Amanda Casper, Executive Director & Founder of GRYS. “The newsletter is another way for us to keep families informed, celebrate our students, and invite everyone to be part of the music.”
The GRYS is now registering returning and new student musicians for the upcoming season, which runs from August 21, 2025, to May 1, 2026. All instruments and skill levels are welcome, with ensembles for intermediate and advanced players.
