Rockwall, TX – July 4, 2025 – Angel Hands Hospice and Palliative Care is actively seeking volunteers in the Rockwall area to provide companionship visits to patients facing the final stages of life.
Volunteer opportunities are open to individuals with a compassionate heart and a desire to make a meaningful impact in their local community. Companionship volunteers offer emotional support, a listening ear, and a comforting presence – often making all the difference for patients and their families.
“Many of our volunteers say this work has been deeply rewarding and even life-changing,” said Shaena Whitney, Director of Volunteer Services. “We offer full training and support to ensure every volunteer feels confident and valued.”
Angel Hands currently serves communities across North Texas, including the Denton, Tyler, Texoma, and Dallas-Fort Worth regions. Volunteer hours are flexible and designed to accommodate various schedules.
