Rockwall, TX – May 20, 2025 – At the regular City Council meeting held on Monday, May 19, the City of Rockwall officially welcomed newly elected officials during a swearing-in ceremony. Four positions—Mayor and Council Places 1, 3, and 5—were up for election this year, each serving a two-year term.
Following the certification of election results, the oath of office was administered to the newly elected members.
Tim McCallum – Mayor of Rockwall
Richard W. Henson – Place 1
Melba L. Jeffus – Place 3
Dennis Lewis – Place 5
The newly seated Council will continue to lead the City through upcoming projects, strategic planning, and community initiatives.
