Rockwall, TX – April 29, 2025 – The North East Texas Community Development Corporation (NETCDC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to affordable housing and community development, is proud to announce two leadership updates to its Board of Directors.
Ben Alexander, entrepreneur and founder of TradeworX Consulting, has been elected Vice President of the NETCDC Board and will now serve on the Executive Committee. Since joining the board earlier this year, Ben has brought valuable insight in business strategy, leadership development, and community engagement. As Vice President, he will play a key role in shaping NETCDC’s strategic initiatives and expanding its impact across the region.
NETCDC also welcomes Robert Lim as its newest board member. Robert is an accomplished business executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in brand development, strategic planning, and operational growth. He has helped scale businesses in the retail, distribution, and financial services sectors and is passionate about building strong, resilient communities. Beyond his professional success, Robert is an active community supporter, contributing to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Children’s Hospital.

NETCDC’s Board of Directors reflects the diverse fabric of the communities it serves, with at least 30% of board members representing low-income residents as required by HUD guidelines. The organization owns and operates several affordable housing properties, including The Meadows in Rockwall, and is funded through rental income and grants from the USDA Office of Rural Development and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA).
