Join Us for an Evening of Live Music & Visual Art on February 28
Rockwall, TX – February 20, 2025 – The Greater Rockwall Youth Symphony (GRYS) and the Rockwall Art League are excited to present the Symphony of Color Kickoff Concert, a spectacular evening of live orchestral music and stunning visual art. The event will take place on Friday, February 28, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM at The Center (108 E. Washington St., Rockwall, TX).
This special kickoff event offers the perfect preview of the highly anticipated Symphony of Color: Midnight in Paris gala, happening later this spring. Guests will enjoy a captivating performance by GRYS musicians, featuring selections from Rimsky-Korsakov, Marquez, and more, while experiencing an exclusive exhibition of artwork from talented Rockwall artists.
A Celebration of Art, Music, and Community
Designed as a multimedia experience, the Symphony of Color Kickoff Concert brings together Rockwall’s finest young musicians and visual artists for a one-of-a-kind cultural event.
“This concert is a wonderful way to showcase the synergy between music and the visual arts,” said Amanda Casper, GRYS Founder and Executive Director. “Our student musicians will set the stage for a night of artistic inspiration, and we can’t wait for the community to experience this incredible collaboration.”
Guests will also have the opportunity to preview artwork that will be featured at the Symphony of Color: Midnight in Paris gala on May 2, 2025, where art and music will come together in an unforgettable Parisian-inspired evening.
