Michele Lynn Connell age 53 passed away peacefully on September 4, 2022, at her home in Rowlett, TX, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born November 23, 1968, in Houston, TX, to George Michael and Barbara (Bauer) Gibson. Michele acquired her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Baylor University and her Master’s in Business from Texas A&M Commerce. She was employed by L-3 Communications in both Waco and Greenville, and later by Raytheon Technologies in Dallas. She was a member of Dallas Bead Society and enjoyed jewelry design, beading and glass fusing, which quickly turned in to a business venture. In 2018 she started Almost Matching Designs with her mother. She excelled in silver smithing making wonderful one of a kind rings, pendants, earrings and bracelets adorned with Swarovski crystals. On February 2, 2001, she married Derek Connell in Las Vegas, NV, and they have shared 21 wonderful years. Michele was of the Baptist Faith. She loved her family dearly and they loved her. She will be deeply missed.
Michele is survived by her husband: Derek Connell; son: Dylan Connell and wife Kaelee; mother: Barbara Bessire; father: George Michael Gibson and wife Gail; sisters: Kimberly Hawkins, Alicia Bassett, Cindy Knapek, and Carol Riggs. Also, Dennis and Betty Connell, Dustin and Deana Connell, Nancy and Chuck Lick, Judith McMillan, Bill Bauer, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents William and Donna Monika and Irene Bauer.
