Linda Jean Stover, age 60, and a 30-year resident of Rockwall, Texas, passed away on August 18, 2020. Linda was born on October 14, 1959, to William Taylor Watson and Elaine Marie (Depaepe) Watson, in San Mateo, California.
Linda was a beacon of light and joy. It was never a dull moment. She spent her time loving on her all of her animals and tending to her horses. In California, she was the Grand Champion of the State show. Linda regularly donated to animal shelters and had the cleanest barn anyone could imagine. Some would say it was so clean you could eat off the floors, same as her house. Linda took great pride in her family and her work. She worked with Sanden International for 30 years as a forklift driver, and the family she acquired at work became as important as her own kin. Relus held a special place in her heart. Linda will be missed by all who knew her.
Linda is survived by her partner, Randy; her mother, Elaine Marie Watson; brother: William Charles Watson; nephews: Derek William Watson and Kenneth Charles Watson; and a host of other family and friends who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roland Stover; her father, William Taylor Watson; and her aunt Virginia Sorensen.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020, at 10:00 AM, in Reflections Chapel at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall location.
