Anthony John Thompson, age 32, of Royse City, TX, passed away on June 12, 2020. He was born June 23, 1987, in Dallas, TX, to Larry Thompson and Morgen (Murphy) Hudson. Anthony loved being outdoors. In his free time, he would go fishing, hunting, or kayaking. He also enjoyed outdoor sports such as shooting and archery. Anthony loved spending time with his friends and family, cooking or grilling. Most of all, he treasured the time spent with his two boys, Eli and Ayden. His family was very important to him. His presence will be deeply missed.
Anthony is survived by his wife: Kimberly (Watkins) Thompson of Royse City, TX; sons: Eli and Ayden Thompson; mother: Morgen Hudson of Josephine, TX; father: Larry Thompson of Caddo Mills, TX; brothers: Chris Thompson and Minda Landis of Rowlett, TX, and Patrick Thompson of Quinlan, TX; grandparents: Allan and Betty Houser of Lavon, TX; step-father: Rick Hudson; step-mother: Tamara Thompson; his beloved dog: Blue; and a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of Anthony’s life will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location. On Wednesday, June 17, 2020, a gathering of family and friends will take place at the funeral home from 5:30 to 7:30.
