Brian Joseph Dunne, age 67, passed away on February 25, 2020 at his home. Brian was born on July 23, 1952, to Stephen P. Dunne and Mary Virginia (Mitchell) Dunne, in Chicago, Illinois.
Brian’s career over the past 30 plus years with Mi-jack products an Illinois manufacture and the world’s largest manufacture of the rubber tiered gantry crane, was started on the construction equipment side of Mi-Jack’s many businesses / divisions. Over the past 25 plus years, Brian has demonstrated being the top Industrial Travelift rubber tired gantry crane sales representative. Brian started his new sales carrier as the Industrial Travelift leading sales rep for the division living on the West Coast and responsible for 14 states. Once the west coast was established, Brian then relocated to the southwest region living in Rockwall Texas with his family. Brian continued his sales endeavors and goals always focusing for being the top performer for the company and his family. His effortless work ethic continued as Brian maintained the prestigious accomplishment of being not only the leading sales rep within Mi-Jack products for the Industrial Travelift, but also as top salesmen in the Industry as a whole.

Brian’s loyalty to family and company was a true testament of his fierce competitive edge for excellence for his customers and quality of life.

Brian touched and traversed many lives with establishing everlasting relationship / friendships that will never be forgotten. Brian literally touched the masses in personal and worked related friendships and had a network second to no one, he embraced work and personal that lead him to being the quality person and salesman he loved / and consistently yearned to be.

Brian is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Lisa” Dunne; sons, Christopher Dunne and Alex Dunne; brothers, Steve Dunne and wife Pat, and Kevin Dunne and wife Bonnie; sister, Eileen (Dunne) Cominsky and husband Jim; and a host of nieces and nephews. Brian will be missed dearly by those who knew him.
Brian is preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Mary Virginia Dunne.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020, at 10:00 AM, in Reflections Chapel at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall location, with Bishop Todd Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering will be held before the service from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall location.
