Della Louise Manley transferred from this life to her home in heaven to stand in victory before her Lord, Jesus Christ at 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, February 9. She joined her daughter, Rhonda, her mother and father, Frankie and Mack Roach, and her brothers, William Franklin Roach and A.F. Roach in their heavenly home.

She will be waiting on the other side for husband of 73 ½ years, Jene Manley; daughter, Celeste Bryant and her husband Jackie Ray; her son, Michael J Manley and wife Fran, and her beloved sister, Dorothy Luck. She will also be waiting for her 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren plus one on the way. She was born, reared and spent her entire adult life in Hollis, Oklahoma before moving to Rockwall, Texas in June 2016.

Louise was a wife, mother and secretary/bookkeeper for her husband. She and her husband, Jene, did a lot of traveling in their travel trailers and motor home and touring on a motorcycle, thoroughly enjoying their time together. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hollis, Oklahoma close to 70 years. She taught 9 year-olds in Sunday School for 12 years. She was Director/Teacher of Toddlers in Sunday School for more than 22 years. She was also very active in Women’s Missionary Union. She read her Bible all the way through at least 30 ties that we know of. And finally, later in life spent 20 years faithfully visiting the nursing homes and shut-ins in Hollis. She is an elegant lady who lived out her faith.

Her life will be celebrated at First Baptist Church of Hollis, Oklahoma on Thursday, February 13 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation 45 minutes before the Celebration Service. The Service will be officiated by son, Michael J. Manley.
