Terry Edward Sullivan Obituary

Terry Edward Sullivan, age 70, and 40-year resident Rockwall, TX, passed away on November 20, 2019. He was born March 21, 1949, in Cresco, IA, to Omer Richard Sullivan and Opal Dell (Naubauer) Sullivan. Terry was very proud to have graduated from Bryan Adams High School in Dallas in 1967. He studied Drafting & Engineering at El Centro College and pursued a career at Mobil as a project manager. Retiring from Mobil, he later worked for the Railroad Commission and retired again in 2017. Terry regularly attended Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall. He was a huge Dallas Cowboy’s fan. Terry loved watching football but he also loved his favorite TV shows: Friends, CSI, Criminal Minds, Two and a Half Men, Married with Children, MASH, and Blue Bloods. He was a big fan of the Eagles, Bee Gees, and The Who. Terry loved antique furniture and cars. He collected vintage Mobil Pegasus memorabilia. He was a very neat and clean person. Terry loved his family dearly and was extremely generous to his children and grandchildren. He was an excellent writer who could write from the heart. He will be missed beyond measure.

Terry is survived by his son: Shaun Michael Sullivan and wife Brittany of Tampa, FL; daughter: Jennifer Lynn Ratliff and husband Shane of Fate, TX; sisters: Patricia Ann Wiler of Garland, TX, and Barbara Jean Moonsey of CA; brothers: Edward George Sullivan of Rowlett, TX, Jeffrey Raymond Sullivan of Rockwall, TX, and James John Sullivan of Fort Worth, TX; and grandchildren: Kylie Morgan Ratliff, Jace Taylor Ratliff, Logan Gabriel Rendon, Noah Alexander Rendon, Nicolai Michael Sullivan, and Angelo David Immanuel Sullivan. He was preceded in death by his brother: Richard James Sullivan; and his parents.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location.
