Joseph Anthony Tripodi Obituary

Joseph Anthony Tripodi, age 89 of Rockwall, TX, passed away December 19, 2019. He was born June 12, 1930, in Brooklyn, NY, to Vincent and Laura (Teresso) Tripodi. Joseph worked for IBM as a business machine representative for many years until his retirement on June 1, 1985. He was a member of Reunion Church in Dallas, TX.

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife: Marie Tripodi, daughter: Laura Insuaste and husband George, and son: James Tripodi and wife Carol, all of Rockwall, TX; six grandchildren: Stephanie Olivarri and husband Sam, Shaun Insuaste, Jennifer Insuaste, Kristie Bartollata and partner Katie, Jennifer Wilkerson and husband Blaine, and James Tripodi, Jr.; five great-grandchildren: Sammy, Sara, Sophia, Kaylee and Khloe; and one brother: Mike Tripodi. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Thursday, December 26, 2019, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel with Sam Olivarri officiating. Pallbearers are Sam Olivarri, Shaun Insuaste, James Tripodi, Jr., Blaine Wilkerson, James Tripodi and and Mike Insuaste. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday morning, prior to the funeral, beginning at 10:00am.
