Carmen Moreno Obituary

Carmen Moreno, a 33-year resident of Rowlett, TX, passed away December 7, 2019, at the age of 69. She was born December 27, 1949, in Dallas to Frank Jose and Carmen (Gomez) Ybarra. Carmen was married on April 24, 1965, in Dallas to Frank Moreno and they shared 54 wonderful years. She was a faithful member of Long Creek Baptist Church in Sunnyvale, TX, and is remembered as loving and caring to her family and many friends.

Carmen is survived by her husband: Frank Moreno of Rowlett, TX; son: Florentino Moreno and wife Corina of Little Elm, TX; daughter: Marylouise Jacquez and husband Daniel of Allen, TX; siblings: Rosario Ovalle of Dallas, TX, Angelina Navarro of Mesquite, TX, Esperanza Avila and husband Eusebio of Dallas, TX, Frank Ybarra and wife Julia of Rowlett, TX; grandchildren: Ashley and Eric Craven of McKinney, TX, Daniel and Daisy Jacquez of Forney, TX, Manuel Jacquez of McKinney, TX, Florentino III and Meagan Moreno of Aubrey, TX; great-grandchildren: Daniel, Alex, Gabriella, Giselle, and Julius. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Linda Benavidez.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 13, 2019, at Long Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Benny Craft officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. There will be a gathering of family and friends at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rowlett Location Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
