Judy Smith Obituary

Judy Jaleela Smith, age 71 of Corinth, TX, passed away October 29, 2019. She was born March 25, 1948, in Banu, Pakistan, to John Abdul and Khan Khela Majid. Judy was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Church. Married for 52 years, she was deeply devoted to her husband and family and was dearly loved by all who knew her.

Judy is survived by her husband: Peter Smith of Corinth, TX; children: Jason Smith, Jeremy Smith and wife Diane all of Carrollton, TX, Jennifer Alexander and husband Matthew of Corinth, TX; siblings: Johnathan Majid and partner Carolyn Jackson of Oklahoma City, OK, Joanna Maxwell and husband Tom of Baltimore, MD, Julianna Smedlund and husband Eric of Edmond, OK, Jasmine Majid and husband Blake Chisam of La Jolla, CA; grandchildren: Jade, Riley, Ethan and Jacob; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Monday, November 4, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rowlett with Father Danny Ramos officiating. Interment in Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery will be 10:30 am Tuesday. There will be a gathering of family and friends at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rowlett Location Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm with a Rosary at 5.
