Margriet Elizabeth McClure Obituary

Margriet Elizabeth (Lagerwaard) McClure, age 70, of Rockwall, Texas, passed away on October 23, 2019. She was born April 3, 1949, in Rotterdam, Holland to Ernst Lagerwaard and Lidewij Jacoba Cornelia (Koster) Lagerwaard. Margriet was a resident of the Rockwall and Rowlett area for over 30 years, where she attended Victory Baptist Church in Rowlett, Texas. She will be missed dearly.

Margriet was an animal advocate. She volunteered with Rockwall Pets, Patriot Paws and several Rockwall-Rowlett animal shelters and adoption agencies helping however she could with those lovable little creatures.

She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years: James McClure; daughter and best friend: Miranda Linane; grandchildren: Trinity, Brynnly, and Roman Linane; sister: Elly Lagerwaard; nieces: Annette van Dam and husband Martijn, and Debbie Bomhof. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will take place prior to the service, beginning at 3:00 PM.
