John Dieter Ufer Obituary

John Dieter Ufer, age 55 of Rowlett, TX, passed away October 23, 2019. He was born October 22, 1964, in Houston, TX, to Claus Dieter and Amy (Bradford) Ufer. John was a faithful member of Lake Pointe Church and CFO of the Key-Whitman Eye Center. He was devoted to his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

John is survived by wife: Tammi Ufer of Rowlett, TX; children: Lauren and Ryan Tannehill of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jordan and Erica Ufer of Houston, TX, Dillon Ufer of Houston, TX, Brittany and Josh Gentry of Poetry, TX, Chase Citelli and Fiona Kelley of The Colony, TX; parents: Dieter and Amy Ufer of Houston, TX; siblings: Michael and Susan Ufer of Dallas, TX, Kate May of Rowlett, TX, and Thomas Ufer of Ft. Collins, CO; grandchildren: Steel, Stella, Thea, Morgan and Kaylen.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at Lake Pointe Church The Bridge. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. There will be a gathering of family and friends at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rowlett Location Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
