Jennifer (Jenny Sue) Lemons, age 60, of Farmersville, TX, passed away on
October 18, 2019. She was born September 19, 1959, in Dallas, TX.
Jennifer loved her family dearly. She had an amazing personality. Witty,
smart, generous, and full of love. Jennifer wore her heart on her
sleeve. She loved to car dance and sing. Purple was her favorite color.
Jennifer was very gifted at making crochet and cross stitch crafts. She
was a “shop aholic” and would always buy purses, blankets, phone covers,
and socks. Jennifer was also an excellent cook. She will be deeply
missed by everyone who loved her.
Jennifer is survived by her
loving husband of 27 years: Mike Lemons; daughters: Andrea Burrow and
husband Jeremy, Rachel McKnight, and Melinda McKnight; grandchildren:
Aubrey, Shaun, Jennifer, Jacob, Daniel, Rylan, Ryder, Addison, and
Sawyer; mother: Doris Smothers; mom: Virginia Smothers; sisters: Lauri
Anderson and husband Jeff, and Penny Leija; brother: David Smothers and
wife Pam; beloved dogs: Daisy Mae, Booty Ray, Jenny Gay, and Josephine
Lee; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her
father: Donald Smothers; grandson: Cameren Hargrove; and sister: Trecia
Harper.
A celebration of Jennifer’s life will be held 1:00 pm
Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral
