Raymond “Ray” Lee Holdcroft, a long-time resident of Royse City, TX, left to be with his Lord on July 26, 2020. He was born August 10, 1944, in Buena Vista, TX, to Frederick Gordon Holdcroft and Doris May (Headley) Holdcroft. Ray was a loving father and grandfather. He was a devoted member of First Christian Church of Rockwall where he spent many hours volunteering his time at nursing homes, served as a deacon, and was a member of the choir. He loved to call out Bingo while volunteering at the nursing home. Ray loved to take his grandchildren to church camp. He will be missed deeply by everyone who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife: Marie Holdcroft; son: Richard Holdcroft; daughters: Renee Pelt and husband Aaron, and Alicia Holdcroft; grandchildren: Danielle Pelt, Kyle Pelt, Jace Pelt, and Mackenzie Solano; brother: Robert Holdcroft; and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and twin his brother: Richard Wayne Holdcroft.
Private funeral services will be held at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
