Poetry, TX – April 2026 – Poetry Community Christian School proudly recognizes its top graduates for the Class of 2026, celebrating both academic excellence and well-rounded achievement.

Valedictorian Zoe Lehew graduates with an impressive 4.268 GPA after 12 years at PCCS. During her time at the school, Zoe served as President of the National Honor Society and contributed to the Honors Yearbook Team. She also excelled in extracurricular activities, earning First Team All-State honors through the Texas National Archery in Schools Program and performing in lead roles within the school’s theatre program.

Zoe expressed deep gratitude for her time at PCCS, sharing appreciation for the faculty, staff, and administrators who invested in her journey. She will attend University of Dallas this fall, where she plans to pursue both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business. Zoe has been awarded the university’s prestigious Trustee Scholarship, its highest merit-based honor. Looking ahead, she hopes to build a career as a fashion designer while also pursuing her passion for music. She also plans to study abroad at the university’s Rome campus during the spring semester of her sophomore year and is excited to continue growing academically and in her faith.

Salutatorian Krishtian Johnston graduates with a 4.36 GPA and has made a strong impact both academically and athletically during his two years at PCCS. A dedicated athlete, Krishtian competed in varsity baseball, cross country, and basketball, earning recognition as a TAPP All-District player and All-State honorable mention.

In addition to athletics, Krishtian served as lead prosecutor in this year’s Mock Trial, participated in the school art show, and was active in the National Honor Society. He also demonstrated a commitment to service through his involvement with Feed My Starving Children.

Reflecting on his time at PCCS, Krishtian shared appreciation for the friendships he built and the dual credit opportunities available to students. He credited his parents and school staff for encouraging his success and supporting his growth as a student and individual. Looking ahead, he plans to pursue a career in academics—potentially in engineering or artificial intelligence, while continuing his basketball career at the collegiate level, as opportunities allow.

Poetry Community Christian School celebrates both students for their dedication, leadership, and faith, and looks forward to seeing the impact they will make in the years ahead.
