Autumn McKenzie Ray, 7, of Rockwall, Texas, passed in her mother’s arms with her family by her side on October 2, 2022. Born to Phillip Edward Ray and Jessica Jo (Manning) Ray, on December 13, 2014, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Autumn was extraordinary from the beginning. Referring to herself as a “Unicorn”, Autumn knew her purpose on this earth and spent every moment fulfilling it. A true believer in Jesus Christ, Autumn spent her 7 short years dedicated to telling people of God’s eternal message to us…you are loved.

Autumn is survived by her parents, Phillip and Jessica Ray; her “dinosaur” brother Aiden James Ray; her fur-babies: David, Mollie, Charlie and Magic. Her maternal grandparents: Debbie and Brian Manning. Her paternal grandparents: Linda and Curtis “Mike” Ray and her great grandfather: Mikel Buczkowsi. As well as her chosen family, Pam and Greg Podd, and all of her aunts and uncles: Robert Manning, Mandy Manning, Michael Ray, Steve and Denise Ray, Matthew and Kristin Ray; along with a host of friends and loved ones from around the world who will all miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her Uncle Scott Manning; her Aunt Carolyn “Carrie” Ray; and her 7 great-grandparents who never had the chance to meet Autumn Earth-side, but all of whom were waiting to greet her in Heaven.

Her family will receive guests for a visitation to the public from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location on October 13, 2022. A celebration of Autumn’s life is to be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, beginning at 10:00 AM in Reflections Chapel at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall location.

For those not able to be in attendance, services will also be livestreamed at the following link:

Post-service, the family would like to invite all attendees to march in a parade behind the hearse to honor Autumn and her legacy.

As Autumn would say, “Stay Magical.”
