Rockwall, TX – November 4, 2025 – Darrell Day, last year’s Republican nominee for U.S. Congress in District 32, will host a Rockwall County Campaign Kickoff event this Saturday, Nov. 8, at Culpepper Cattle Company in Rockwall. The event will run from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at Culpepper Cattle Company, 309 I-30 Frontage Rd., Rockwall, and will include remarks from Day and local leaders as he outlines his vision for North Texas and the country. The campaign kickoff is open to supporters, media, and community members.
Rockwall is now in CD32, after the Texas legislature redrew the map across the entire state. A congressional district that was previously a Democrat-heavy district focused on Dallas and Collin counties, CD-32 is now a Republican-heavy district that includes Rockwall, Wood, Upshur, Hunt, Camp, and Rains counties.
Day was the GOP Nominee for TX-32 in 2024, winning the GOP Primary Runoff by 30 percentage points, 65% to 35%, and is a former GOP Precinct Chair and City Councilman in Arlington, TX.
Day said that he stands with President Trump to champion his America First Agenda – focused on prioritizing U.S. interests, curbing wasteful government spending, and expanding U.S. energy production. “North Texans are ready for strong conservative leadership that defends our freedoms, strengthens our economy, and restores American energy independence,” Day said. “I’ve spent time in Rockwall County meeting with Republican voters and grassroots leaders, and I’m impressed by how Rockwall is so engaged, informed, and motivated. Rockwall represents the spirit and energy that will drive our country forward. It’s time for a new DAY in Congress!”
Day has been a small business owner in the district for 25 years. He and his wife, Ginger, have been married for 23 years and have lived in CD 32 for more than two decades. Day has long been active in the community as a neighborhood association president, PTA volunteer, and proud Girl Scout “Cookie Dad”.
