Circle K Texas Business Unit joins thousands of convenience stores nationwide to recognize everyday heroes and support disaster relief efforts.

SAN ANTONIO (July 21, 2025) – On Thursday, July 24, Circle K stores across Texas will join convenience retailers nationwide for the seventh annual 24/7 Day, a day dedicated to recognizing and supporting the first responders and volunteers who work around the clock to keep communities safe.

As part of this year’s celebration, Circle K is offering a free dispensed beverage to any first responder in uniform or with valid ID—including law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, 9-1-1 dispatchers, nurses, active duty military and American Red Cross volunteers.

In addition, the Texas Business Unit will make a monetary donation to the American Red Cross to help fund critical disaster response and relief services and is also inviting customers to contribute at the register.

Participating stores are located in the San Antonio, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Waco, Corpus Christi, Harlingen, and McAllen metro areas, as well as other communities across North, Central, and South Texas (excluding locations in West Texas and the Panhandle).

24/7 Day, organized nationally by the NACS Foundation, underscores the shared commitment between the convenience retailing industry and first responders to serve communities when they need it most. For Texas, that commitment is especially meaningful.

“At Circle K, we operate 24/7, just like the heroes we’re honoring,” said Gerardo Valencia, Vice President of Operations, Texas Business Unit. “Our teams have a deep connection with first responders—not only as familiar faces in our stores but as partners in keeping our communities safe, especially during the natural disasters that impact Texas, from the hurricanes that threaten our coast each year to historic floods like the terribly tragic one that struck the Hill Country earlier this month. This day is about recognizing their importance as well as the crucial work of our partners at the Red Cross.”

In addition to celebrating first responders, 24/7 Day raises awareness for the American Red Cross, an organization that responds to more than 65,000 disasters annually and provides essential services like shelter, food, and emergency relief to those affected. Circle K’s donation and in-store efforts help amplify the Red Cross mission and ensure communities are better prepared when emergencies strike.
