Arthur Gene Wong, age 76, a resident of Buffalo, TX, passed away peacefully in his sleep June 17, 2022. He was born May 27, 1946, in Dallas, TX, to Mary Catherine (Usrey) and Man Shei Wong. Arthur was a veteran of the United States Navy and served as a Sea-Bee during Vietnam. He was a hardworking entrepreneur with a successful business until his retirement where he enjoyed working his cattle, land and traveling. Arthur was a selfless, caring man willing to help anyone, and will be deeply missed.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife: Hazel Wong; children: Gene, Kevin (wife Lisa), and Michael; step-children: Dianna and Jimmy; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and brother: Tommy Byers (wife Idalia). He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Liticia Cora Byers.
A celebration of Arthur’s life will be held 10:00am Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home- Rockwall location
