Dr. Kendall Renee (Yoes) Stevens, 28, of San Antonio, Texas, passed from this life on May 11, 2022. Kendall was born on March 10, 1994, to Christopher Goodman Yoes and JoAnn Marie (Smusz) Yoes, in Dallas, Texas. From an early age Kendall grew up with a love of sports including softball, soccer and volleyball. Kendall played volleyball year-round at a high level all the way through high school. While in high school, Kendall had a close group of friends that she enjoyed spending time with whenever possible. Kendall met her future husband at age 16 while working at a pizza shop. From that time on, Kendall and Mark spent their time building their lives and working towards their future. Kendall went to Texas State University after high school where she graduated with a BA in Health Sciences with a focus in Physical Therapy. After graduating, Kendall and Mark moved to Houston where Kendall took a job working as a Behavioral Technician working with children diagnosed with autism. This job fueled her desire to help others and help her decide to continue her education at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. In May 2021, Kendall graduated from UTHSCSA with her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy. Kendall married her high school sweetheart, Mark Ryan Stevens, on December 17, 2021. Her infectious smile and bubbling personality were noticed by everyone who was around her, and she would always go out of her way to ensure that everyone else was cared for.
