ROCKWALL, Texas – The Rockwall Economic Development Corporation (REDC) welcomes Rockwall residents Kayne Pierce and Darren Shue to serve on the Board of Directors for the organization. Pierce was appointed by City Council in December to replace Rick Carroll, whose term expired in December 2021. Shue was appointed in February to fill an unexpired term following Craig Renfro’s departure from the Board.

Pierce is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana.  He and his family relocated to Rockwall in early 2021, where he currently serves as Vice President & Commercial Lender for B1Bank. Pierce is an advocate for community service, and has been a member of several organizations.  Currently, he is a member of the Leadership Rockwall Class of 2022, and an ambassador for the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce. In addition to his position with B1Bank, Pierce is also involved with multiple investment properties, and business ventures.

Shue moved to Rockwall in late 2013, after reuniting with his childhood sweetheart.  He and his wife have been married eight years and have four children. Shue is the owner of SaniTech Services, LLC, a Rockwall-based business providing epoxy coated floor solutions. Two of his adult sons join him in business at SaniTech. After getting to a point in his business where he could slow down and let others take on more responsibility, Shue said he was excited to seek out opportunities to serve, which led him to the REDC Board of Directors. Shue is also an active member in his local church.
