Jamie M. Maige, age 91, of Allen, TX, left to be with the Lord on January 13, 2022. She was born May 18, 1930, in Ripley, MS, to Charles Duncan McCarley and John Allen (Luna) McCarley. Jamie was an “Earth Angel” and was the sweetest, most patient human being who cared for everyone. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and caregiver for her father. Among her other careers and accomplishments, Jamie worked as an elementary school mentor and helped manage an Alzheimer’s facility for numerous years. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, was an excellent cook, and loved to bake. Jamie loved her family dearly and always put their needs before her own; she will be sorely missed.
Jamie is survived by her sons: Stanley Maige and wife Yassi, Vince Maige and wife Debi, and Maurice Maige, Jr. and wife Kathy; grandchildren: Corina Germany, Ariana Stehno and husband Chris, Maura Maige, Trey Maige, Kelli Maige, Dustin Hobson, Leah Maige, Danielle Maige, Caleb Maige, Billy Maige, Madeline Maige, John Kulmacz, Anna Galicchio and husband Nick; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister: Mary Cochran. She was preceded in death by her husband: Maurice Maige; sister: Dorothy Martin; brother: Charles McCarley; and her parents.
