Carolyn Ann Dismore, age 87, of Rockwall, TX, passed away on January 12, 2022. She was born January 10, 1935, in Rockwall, TX, to Bonnie Bee Williams and Irene (Fowkles) Williams. Carolyn graduated from Rockwall High School and married her high school sweetheart, J.E. in 1952. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rockwall. Carolyn was a loving mother and grandmother. Her presence will be deeply missed.
Carolyn is survived by her children: Greg Dismore and wife LaVenia of Rowlett, TX, Kerri McEntee and husband Mike of Rowlett, TX, and Donna Dismore of Dallas, TX; grandchildren: Lori Jones and husband Wayne, Melissa Rushing and husband Bill, Jake McEntee and wife Raychel, Josh McEntee and wife Courtney, Clayton Dismore and wife Laura, and Justin Dismore; and eight great-grandchildren: Reid, Rhett, and Rhenn Jackson, Finley and John Huck Rushing, Mollie and Hayden McEntee, and Madalynn McEntee. She was preceded in death by her husband after 55 years of marriage: J.E. Dismore; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location, officiated by Pastor Mike Shupp. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will take place prior to the service beginning at 1:00pm.
