Carolyn Raye Pratt

Carolyn Raye Pratt, 69, of Rockwall, Texas, passed from this life on October 15, 2021. Carolyn was born on December 3, 1951, to Olis Ray Turner and Joy (Wren) Turner, in Dallas, Texas.

Carolyn was a strong, caring, and compassionate woman, mother, and wife. She always gave more of herself than anyone could ask for and worked hard to lift up those around her. She was always quick to celebrate the successes of her family and friends and spread love to everyone she knew while rarely pausing to brag on her own accomplishments. Carolyn was a fighter to the very end who always believed things would work out and never gave up on the ones she loved.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Michael Dean Pratt; children: Melissa Frajkor and Matt, Zach Houston, Aaron Houston and Laura; step-children: Julie Quain and Steve, Richard Houston II and Shelley, Kenny Houston, Danett Houston; grandchildren: Mathieu Frajkor, Jacob Frajkor; siblings: Marilyn Fite, Randy Turner and Ginger, Roger Turner and Rosy; and beloved furbabies: Max and Maggie. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Olis and Joy Turner; and late husband: Richard Houston.

A funeral service to celebrate Carolyn’s life is to be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Reflections chapel at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall location, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. A gathering of friends and loved ones will precede the service from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Sand Flat Cemetery at 4494 F.M. 857, Grand Saline, Texas 75140.
