At their August 16th monthly meeting, the Board of Trustees approved a Maintenance & Operations (M&O) tax rate decrease of 3.64 cents or 3.87% from the prior year’s M&O rate. The Interest & Sinking (I&S) tax rate is the same as the previous year’s rate. The 2021-2022 tax rate is the lowest in 30 years.
The total tax rate (M&O plus I&S) is decreasing by 3.64 cents. The breakdown of the proposed tax rate is shown below:
