On Monday, February 1, 2021, The Royse City Chamber of Commerce honored PSO Daniel Guerrica and Part-time firefighter Tracy Price as Officer and Firefighter of the year.
PSO Daniel Guerrica was named Officer of the Year because of his “can-do” team spirit. PSO Duerrica is continually looking to assist where and whenever needed. Additionally, he is an excellent ambassador that connects well with the Fate community.
As a part-time employee, firefighter Tracy Price always approaches his shift with the “what can I make better” approach. He volunteers readily for filling an open shift and has a “take charge” attitude for getting tasks completed.
Lieutenant Tyler Smith was also honored for five years of service to the City.
