Police chase involving stolen vehicle ends in crash in Rockwall

Today, Fate Officers pursued a person in a stolen vehicle through Fate into Rockwall. At one point, officers boxed in the vehicle and while attempting to apprehend the driver, he rammed one of our units to avoid arrest. The suspect fled north on Goliad, striking another vehicle at Lake Shore Drive which incapacitated the stolen vehicle and enabled Fate officers to arrest the suspect. The suspect was also found to be wanted for other felony offenses. Rockwall Sheriff Deputies, Texas DPS, and Rockwall PD assisted in the incident.
