Dan R. Donica, age 87 of Vidor, TX, passed away August 8, 2020. He was born October 12, 1932, in Harper, KS, to Dan McCoy and Helen F. (Broadstone) Donica. Dan served his country in the U.S. Air Force and also attended Kansas University, Wichita State University and SMU in Dallas where he received his Associate Degree. He attended Pine Forest Baptist Church and is well remembered by his family and friends.
Dan is survived by his wife: Betty Donica of Vidor, TX; children: Steve Donica of Kaufman, TX, and Susan Donica of Garland, TX; grandchildren: Jodi and Danny Brown, Jennifer and Kyle Reed, Amanda and Brian Ross; and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife LaVon Joy (Brummett) Donica in 2011.
Private graveside services will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Rockwall, TX.
