Dallas Fire-Rescue, Dallas PD recover body in Lake Ray Hubbard

An adult male body has been recovered from Lake Ray Hubbard in an apparent drowning. Dallas Police Department and Dallas Fire-Rescure are leading the investigation.

The Rowlett Police Department reported at 11:07am this morning that they were responding to a report of a person jumping into Lake Ray Hubbard in the area of the 1600 block of President George Bush Hwy and the South City limits of Rowlett.

DFR units were dispatched at 12:33 to recover the body, which was hung up on debris.

After the recovery, custody was passed over to the Medical Examiner for positive identification and cause of death determination.
