Jack L. Scott, 83, of Rockwall, Texas, passed away on July 10, 2020. Jack was born to James Efton Scott and Elsie D. (Marang) Scott on July 27, 1936, in Coffeyville, Kansas. He is a member at First Baptist Church of Rockwall.
Jack graduated from Field Kindley High School at the age of 16, in 1952. He joined the Marine Corps at 19 years old. He served our country for 4 years. Jack worked for Equifax Services for 37 years as a divisional manager. He was an outdoorsman and loved to hunt. He was a proud lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sandra K. (Shoaf) Scott; his daughters, Jackie Murphy and husband Pat, and Kathy Walker and husband James; grandchildren: Melissa Bentley and husband Brandon, Mitchell Murphy and fiance Meghan Priebe, Dylan Walker and wife Cassie, and Morgan Belcher and husband Logan; great-grandchildren: Jackson Bentley, Easton Bentley, Luke Bentley, Melody Bentley, and Magnolia Walker. He is preceded in death by his brother: Marvin Stevens; sister: Phyllis Friday; and his parents.
Private memorial services will be held in the Reflections Chapel at Rest Haven – Rockwall Location, with Brothers Wayne Kokendo and Jay Breland officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Global Research Foundation at CLLglobal.org
