Graduation day is important in the life of families. We are proud to announce the graduation ceremony plans for Quest Academy Class of 2020!
Thank you for your patience during this time of change. On Tuesday, May 4, 2020, Texas Education Agency announced graduation ceremony guidance for Texas school systems. As part of Governor Greg Abbott’s Strike Force to Open Texas, TEA approved and released outdoor in-person graduation ceremony guidelines.
Following the guidelines set by the Texas Education Agency, including the limitation of guests per graduate, we are finalizing plans for Quest Academy’s outdoor high school graduation ceremony for the Class of 2020 at Wilkerson-Sanders Memorial Stadium on Friday, May 29, at 7:30 p.m. We look forward to announcing more ceremony details, including the number of tickets per graduate, as we move closer to May 29.
Also, participation by a student in the graduation ceremony is voluntary and we have an alternative, individual type graduation plan to recognize any requesting senior. More information is coming soon.
We also want to remind everyone that Texas Education Agency permission is subject to change as underlying public health conditions may change.
