Ola Mae “Taffy” Vinson Obituary

Ola Mae “Taffy” Vinson, age 95, of Rockwall, TX, passed away on April 13, 2020. She was born April 9, 1925, in Caldwell, TX, to Emil Mac Coufal and Mary (Prazak) Coufal. Taffy attended high school in Caldwell, TX. She moved to Rockwall over 30 years ago from Houston, TX. In 1965, she married Jack Vinson in Freeport, TX. Taffy was a member of First Baptist Church of Rockwall. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, walking, spending time with her friends living in Rockwall, and having lunches with her girlfriends. Her presence will be deeply missed.

Taffy is survived by her brothers: Edward Ray Coufal of Helotes, TX, and Lynn Edwin Coufal of Forney, TX; ten nieces and nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Jack Vinson; sister: Annie Lee Phelps; brother: Clarence Monroe Coufal; and her parents.

A private graveside service will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
