Richard William Finley Obituary

Richard (Rick) William Finley, age 68, of Heath, Texas, passed away on March 8, 2020. He was born September 29, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Richard Travis Finley and Clara Marie (Lyons) Finley.

Rick is survived by his daughter: Allison Kennaugh and husband Sean; grandson: Wesley David Kennaugh; granddaughter: Madelyn Grace Kennaugh; sisters: Alda M. White, and Clarissa A. Cochran and husband Charles W.; brother: Matthew R. White; and his parents: Alden and Clara White. He is also survived by Allison’s mother, Edith Finley, who was his partner in crime through so many years and was dear to his heart.

Rick loved to host a party, raise a glass, and to be surrounded by the ones he cared about. We will gather to be together and remember what his life meant to us. A celebration of Rick’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2020, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location. A gathering of family and friends will take place prior to the service beginning at 12:00 PM.
