Carolyn Speake Obituary

Mary Carolyn Speake, age 77, of Rowlett, TX, passed away on March 4, 2020. She was born December 24, 1942, in Farmersville, TX, to Calvin Clifford Kimberlin and Geneva Theresa (Gooch) Kimberlin. Carolyn was short, feisty, and full of life. She was a character. Carolyn enjoyed every minute spent with her family. She was very protective of her brothers and her children. Her presence will be deeply missed by everyone who loved her.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 57 years: James A Speake; sons: Bill Speake and wife Linda, and James B. Speake; daughter: Tina Speake; granddaughter: Mackenzie Bridger and husband Tim; great-granddaughter: Harper Rae; brothers: Clifford Kimberlin and wife Sandra, and Johnny Kimberlin and wife Kay; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 9, 2020, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location, officiated by her brother, Pastor Johnny Kimberlin. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Sunday, March 8, at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
