Kathleen Eubank-Turner, age 59, of Rockwall, TX, passed away on February 17, 2020. She was born December 21, 1960, in Cudahy, CA, to Warren Randell Eubank and Helen M. (Cross) Eubank. Kathleen moved to Texas in 1981. She graduated from East Texas State University after which she enjoyed many exciting careers. She was a journalist for the Mansfield News-Mirror, worked in retail sales for 6 years with Foley’s Department Store, and several years of doing non-profit work before moving on to a Human Resources career at Baylor and later UTSW hospitals.

Kathleen was a member of the Holy Trinity by the Lake Episcopal Church where she sang in the church choir, was an active member of the bell choir, the Thursday Morning Cursillo Reunion Group, and The Daughters of the King prayer group of which she was a two-term past-president. Kathleen touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life and made it a point to always put everyone else’s needs before her own.

Kathleen is survived by her loving husband: Michael W. Turner; daughters: Lelania Turner, and Mandy Ochs; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; aunt: Beverly Peddie; cousins: John Peddie and Ryan Peddie; and second cousins: Ashley, Amanda, Austin, and Kassidy Peddie. She was preceded in death by her parents; uncle: John F. Peddie; and several aunts and uncles. Kathleen loved her family and friends dearly and her presence will be deeply missed.

Kathleen’s family will gather with her friends on Thursday evening, February 20, 2020, at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 21, 2020, at Holy Trinity by the Lake Episcopal Church with Rev. Keith Turbeville officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
