Judy Kay (Morrison) Hall, age 74, and long-time resident of Rockwall, TX, passed away on February 26, 2020. She was born on October 22, 1945, in Shreveport, LA, to Harold Andrew Morrison and Lucy Louise (Embree) Morrison. Judy was a member of the Master Gardening Club and numerous quilting guilds. She also attended Eastridge Church of Christ. Judy was the owner of Texas Quiltworks in Rockwall, TX. She was extremely creative and loved to teach others about the art of quilting. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening flowers and she won many quilting awards. Judy helped many people in her community by running food and clothing pantries. She will be deeply missed. As our Mom would always say when leaving, “Glad you got to see me”.
She is survived by her loving husband: Glenn Hall of Rockwall, TX; son: Doug Hall and wife Jill of Dallas, TX; daughter: Jennifer Webb and husband Scott of Rockwall, TX; grandchildren: Lauren Lemrick and husband Brenden, Ashley Webb, Juliann Hall, Justin Webb, and Jackson Hall; great-grandson: Henry Lemrick; sisters: Shirley McMillan and husband Bill, and Barbara Work and husband Tom; brother: Don Morrison; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother: Harold Morrison; and her parents.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Eastridge Church of Christ, 670 N Stodghill Rd, Rockwall, TX 75087, officiated by Pastor Dwight Walker. Donation can be made in Judy’s honor to the Eastridge Church of Christ Benevolence Fund.
