Amazon distribution center under construction in Forney

The City is excited to announce that Seattle-based corporation, Amazon, has begun construction on a 200,000 square-foot distribution center in Forney. Under the development of Seefried Properties, the distribution center will be located in the Gateway Development.

The state-of-the-art facility is expected to be completed by late 2020. The project has already been granted the necessary permits and planning approvals, by both the City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission. The City is excited to add Amazon to our growing portfolio of businesses in the commercial sector.
