Ret. SSG Danny Fisher Obituary

Ret. SSG Danny Wayne Fisher, age 55 of Rowlett, TX, passed away January 8, 2020. He was born September 27, 1964, in Vicksburg, MS, to Allen and Dorothy Lee (Jones) Fisher. Danny was a retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant. He had accepted Christ into his life and is well remembered by his family and friends.

Danny is survived by son: Danny Fisher Jr. of Killeen, TX; mother: Dorothy Fisher of Rockwall, TX; significant other: Kimberly Bridges-Dobbins of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers: Ellis Sr. and Marilyn Fisher of Chicago, IL, Herman and Phyliss Fisher of Phoenix, AL, Eddie and Linda Fisher of Chandler, AZ, Nathaniel and Helene Fisher of Falls Church, VA; sisters: Enice and Kenneth Holden of Magnolia, MS, Beola and Terrance Livsey of Garland, TX, Artemease and Anthony Goss of Rowlett, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by father Allen Fisher Sr. and brother Allen Fisher Jr.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Dayvid Griggs officiating. The family will gather with friends at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rowlett Location Friday from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
