Leo M. Moore, age 90, of Royse City, TX, passed away on January 26, 2020. He was born November 5, 1929, in Dallas, TX, to Clyde E. Moore and Willie (Fisher) Moore. Leo has been a member of Eastridge Church of Christ for over 20 years. He served his country in the United States Army as a war medic in Korea. Leo was known as “Singing Leo” and would introduce himself as “Leo the Lion, I’ll never roar no more”. He always put his savior first and he had a great sense of humor. He would declare that he could hear the angels sing. Leo loved the time he spent with his grandkids. He wrote poetry and painted, in his free time. Leo was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He will be deeply missed.

Leo is survived by his loving wife of 30 years: Doris Tillery Moore; children: Ronald Moore and partner Nancy Edie, David Moore, and Brenda Madoni and husband Dan; stepchildren: Patricia Tillery and wife Stacy, and Mary Wise; grandchildren: Brandon Moore, Heather Moore, Amber Kellough, Ryan Rogers, Shelby Collard, Kiley Tillery; great-grandchildren: Roysen, Maren, Marlow, and Sonny; and his beloved baby dog: Trixie. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Marquites Moore, Moselle Anders, Jerald Moore, Kent Moore, and James Moore; and son-in-law: Matthew Wise.


Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. A gathering of family and friends will take place Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
