Laurie Lynn Murrell, age 56 of Mesquite, TX, passed away January 8, 2020. She was born September 18, 1963, in Houston, TX, to Wallace B. and Glenda (Smithwick) Murrell. Laurie was a loving caregiver in special needs group homes. She attended Lake Pointe Church.
Laurie is survived by her parents: Wallace and Glenda Murrell of Rowlett, TX; sister: Donna Murrell of Valley City, OH; brother: Mike Murrell and wife Martha of Rogers, AR; nieces and nephews: Braden, Meaghan, Kristen and Dan, Kelsey and Eric, Kaylie and Justin, and Karli.
The family will hold a private gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rowlett, TX.
