The Rockwall Police Department has designated the front of their communications center, located at 205 W Rusk Street, as a “Safe Trade Zone” for internet purchases and child custody exchange. The area is under 24 hours of surveillance to ensure safety for all parties.
The Safe Trade program began in 2015 and is open to all police departments and LEO organizations. It provides users of online classifieds to make transactions and trades safely. There is no cost to the stations that choose to use it.
