Rockwall High School’s show choir, Walk the Line, was recently competed in Varsity Vocals’ “Best of High School A Cappella” Contest and was chosen for the 2020 album.

The track that was chosen is called, “The Way I Am” originally performed by Charlie Puth. The single features Eric Brian Roca on the solo and Josh Etley on Vocal Percussion. Listen here.

The “Best of High School A Cappella” album is a compilation of groups from all over the US and will come out in early 2020.

Walk the Line will also appear on Voices Only Vol. 2, which is out now.

The “Voices Only” compilation series is not just high school groups, but also college and professional groups like, “The Swingles”, and is the most difficult to be chosen for based on the number of tracks submitted and the fact that the level of production is so advanced.

The track chosen for that album was “Goldmine” originally performed by Kimbra, sung by RHS graduate, Lexi Hawes, and current student, Ashlyn Sisco, with vocal percussion by Josh Etley.
