After reading the novel A Long Walk to Water, Williams Middle School English Teacher, Sherri Nichols, asked her students to find a way to express the overall mood/tone/theme/world impact, etc. of the book.

Lauren Clayton was the first student who immediately wanted to do a fundraiser.  Isaiah Fosnight agreed and immediately jumped in looking to see what all was in place.  Together, those two, along with Abigail Braden and Brian Vidana, took off with a plan.

Together, they have raised more than $2,000 and they have not slowed yet.
